InTW was formed in 2013 by the twin sisters from Taiwan, Hsiao-Wei Hsieh and Hsiao-Ting Hsieh. They started to build their choreography repertory since 2009 while they were studying in Graham School. In 2012, Hsiao-Wei and Hsiao-Ting had their first production, “City Impression Series No.1”, in Manhattan Movement and Art Center, and was invited to be presented at the Roxbury Art Center in 2012 to 2014. InTW produces thoughtful, poetic and ambitious dance productions and take human themes into choreography.

The dance language in their choreography is rooted in Hsiao-Wei & Hsiao-Ting’s own culture, modern dance training, movement analysis by Rudolf Laban and their fascination with storytelling. InTW is awarded by several residency programs including Djerassi Resident Artists Program, Teton Artlab Residency Program, CUNY Dance Initiative, The Field Artist Residency Space, and Artist Residency in TOPAZ ARTS.
