BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance, an internationally-acclaimed contemporary dance company, seeks marketing/media, booking, development/fundraising, and education/outreach interns for Spring Semester 2015, beginning in January. Interns must be motivated to assist with administrative tasks and learn about the operations of a non-profit performing arts organization. Interns will focus on marketing, booking, development, and education, and will assist with preparations for the company’s Spring 2015 performances and residencies, production of fundraising events, and company operations.

Applicants should have knowledge of and interest in the arts. They should be pro-active, responsible, reliable, organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and able to work independently. Applicants should possess strong communication, writing, computer, and social media skills. Tasks will include such things as website updates, presenter/theater communications, educational planning, media editing, targeted development-research, assistance with grant applications, etc. Photography, video, web/graphic design, and database management skills are a plus. Previous experience in arts administration is highly desirable, but not required. Undergraduate students, graduate students and young arts professionals are encouraged to apply.
