Freed of London, an internationally renowned ballet pointe shoe, dance shoe and dance wear company - seeks a Sales Associate at their Long Island City / Queens, NY Headquarters office and showroom (subways 7, G, E, M, N, Q).  Work with dancers from some of the most prestigious schools across the US including School of American Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Boston Ballet and many more. Position includes the following duties:

-Retail / Sales Customer Service
-Pulling and Processing orders (Mail and phone)
-Showroom Salesperson and Pointe Shoe Fitter (will train)

-Aiding in expanding sales and promotional endeavors

Prior experience working in retail / customer service a plus. Knowledge of dance a plus, especially with ballet and familiarity with wearing pointe shoes (does not have to be Freed brand)

For immediate hire.  Start date late February, 2015.  Hours: Monday - Thursday 9-5pm, Fridays 9-3pm, second Saturday per month 10-4pm and some possible summer travel to prestigious US summer dance programs. Benefits includes. Salary commesurate with experience.
