Ticino in Danza is an international dance Festival that hosts a Campus with classes for professionals and intermediate-advanced students.

We’ll offer a week of dance classes and performances in Ticino, the Italian region of Switzerland, by lake Lugano in the foothills of the Alps, 15min from Lake Como.

The classes are led by prestigious teachers and guest choreographers: 35 hours of dance classes of intermediate-advanced level in ballet, modern, contemporary, pilates, and GYROKINESIS(R) and MASTERCLASSES taught by the artists of the Festival. The Festival presents various site specific performances in different location around the region, hosting companies from France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, USA.

Ticino in Danza collaborates with visual artists/photographers and PhDs in dance studies presenting conferences and exibitions.

Campus with accommodation ( 7 days )  745 $ ( with scholarship 545 $ ) includes:

- 35 hours of dance weekly and participation to the GALA performance.

- opportunity to work with choreographers in residency and present a piece at our Gala performance

- accomodation in studio apartments for 2 people at RESIDENCE TELL, Chiasso. Walking distance from the location of the Campus.

- Breakfast included

The Campus and the rehearsals will take place at the Maria Selvini Dance School (Scuola di Danza Maria Selvini) in the town of Chiasso (6830 Ticino Switzerland ).

TiD is a great international experience that promotes network and artistic research.
