First Look is an annual curated program of work by contemporary dance choreographers presented by Brooklyn Ballet.

Selected artists present a work up to 12 minutes-long with full stage lighting, a technical rehearsal, technical staff and marketing support, all free of charge. Though there is no stipend for choreographers, they do receive free rehearsal space at Brooklyn Ballet studio (pending availability) to develop and refine their work.

We are now accepting applications for 2015 First Look choreographers to present work May 29 & 30, 2015 at The Actors Fund Arts Center.
