Announcing the fifth edition of DANCE ITALIA: a summer dance intensive bringing world-renowned, cutting-edge, contemporary choreographers and teachers to a select group of advanced level dance students in an open and professional environment in Lucca, Italy. This program offers a rigorous dance experience in a profound atmosphere of cultural exchange. 

Previous editions have included students and teachers from Belgium, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Norway, Poland, Spain and the US.

When & Where:

Dance Italia 2015, July 20 - August 7, classes run Monday through Friday, in the picturesque city of Lucca, located on the Tuscan coast of Italy.

Dance Italia offers Italian language classes, guided tours, meal plans, and the unique opportunity to access Italian culture while pursuing creative and artistic fulfillment.

1) FORSYTHE IMPROVISATION TECHNIQUE:

July 20-23

10:15 - 13:30 daily

Taught by Brigel Gjoka

 

2) David Zambrano's FLYING LOW Technique:

July 27-29

11:15 - 13:15 daily                                                                           

Taught by Cristina Planas Leitão

 

3) GAGA/BAT-SHEVA REPERTORY:

August 3-6

10:00 - 11:15 Gaga, 11:30-13:30 Repertory

Taught by Shaked Dagan
