DANCE TEACHER/CHOREOGRAPHER - Maternity Leave Replacement

Princeton Day School seeks an experienced dance teacher/choreographer for a maternity leave replacement from September 2015-February 2016.  Responsibilities include teaching 4-5 classes/week of beginning/intermediate dance and 2 classes/week of advanced dance.  Additional option may be to teach “movement for the actor” for 2 classes/week.  All classes are for grades 9-12. Though a concentration or fusion of modern, jazz and ballet technique is preferred, dancers of other cultures and styles are also welcome to apply.  This teacher will be required to choreograph 1-3 dances for a spring performance as part of teaching duties.  Applicants should submit resume, cover letter and references to the attention of Marybeth Roach, Human Resources Manager, atmroach@pds.org.
