                My name is James LaTeek, Artistic Director to Teekvision. Teekvision is a performance dance company  whose mission is to promote dance as a means of  expression by using the essence of a dancer to communicate what life is like through Teek’s vision. As a Visionary, I love to create and view my works, the good and bad. I know the feeling of wanting to see your work on a bigger stage than in your living room apartment or dance studio.  By performing live you get to personally engage the audience with your presence and energy.

 

Teekvision will NOW be accepting applications to participate in the  1st Annual Choreographer’s  Summer Showcase on Saturday August 8th at 6pm. The Showcase will be located at The Secret Theater located 4402 23rd street Long Island City, NY 11101

 

APPLICATION DEADLINE MAY 25th, 2015

Acceptance Notification by June 1st , 2015  

 

Teekvision  will be performing some of our repertory: The Sultriest Series Ep01-02, Tell Me, & many more. Here is your chance to perform as well. If you/your company is interested in performing for this event whether it’s past works, works in progress or new works, let the stage be your guide!  This is an awesome opportunity to get audience thoughts on your work. Here you will receive:

20-30mins tech rehearsal earlier day of show.

Publicity, Media Blast on our social media pages

Being a feature in the Showcase’s Intro Video

(1) Reserve VIP Seating for Choreographer’s

Photos & Video of your performance. (Full Length of show) $10 DVD purchase

 

All you have to do:

Send an Information sheet with name of choreographer(s), Company name , number of dancers, mission statement,etc

Send a video link of your proposed work to Teekvision@gmail.com with video send description of work, length of work

Once accepted into the Showcase a $50 Non-Refundable Production fee is due. The Production fee must be paid by  June 8th in order to hold your spot in the showcase.

 

Friends and Family will have to purchase a $15 advance ticket or  $18 door ticket.
