Bloch, an international dance shoe and apparel manufacture is looking to expand their NYC team and looking to hire a Graphic Artist: 

ABOUT THE POSITION:

This position is responsible for assisting the company Creative Director in execution of existing graphic projects, researching trends, collaborating on new concepts and creating graphics to meet the brands aesthetic. Under the direction of the Creative Director, This Graphic Artist will work with the global graphics team to ensure that each project, be it large or small- meets product, promotional and/or seasonal design direction set by the Creative Director and Senior Management team.

We are looking for someone INCREDIBLY organized with attention to detail. Follows direction and proficient in create problem solving. You must be able to think creatively, multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main duties of this role include but not limited to, creating or assisting in creating designs to best display our products, develop graphics for various projects such as catalog layouts, advertisements, work with a variety of people cross- continents to meet seasonal deadlines, and constantly work to find the most creative solutions.


- Educational - BFA in Graphic Design or similar field
- Strong knowledge and highly proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
- Experience with film editing a plus.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in fast paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and our graphic brand standard.
- Constant drive to gain additional knowledge and improve skill set
- Strong verbal and writing skills for the most efficient communication
- Approachable personality with egoless nature
