World renown Freed of London, USA has an opening for a Sales Associate/Pointe Shoe Fitter with our retail team at our Long Island City / Queens Headquarters office and showroom (just minutes from midtown Manhattan - subways 7, G, E, M, N, Q).  Work with dancers from some of the most prestigious schools across the US including School of American Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Boston Ballet and many more. Must be able to begin immediately (June 2015). Position includes the following duties:

-Office Retail / Sales Customer Service

-Pointe Shoe Fitter (can train) and Showroom assistant

-Marketing/Promotion and Social media assistance

-Potential travel opportunities to Miami, Boston, Seattle and other prestigious summer programs.

Must be highly organized with excellent attention to detail, proactive, professional and able to work both independantly and with a team. Excellent customer service, dance/ballet knowledge and a passion for working with dancers a must. Prior experience working in retail/knowledge of pointe shoes a plus.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 11-5pm, Fridays 9-3pm, second Saturday per month 10-4pm.
