The Moving Architects: Workshop Audition

The Moving Architects: Workshop Audition Rachel Neville

Workshop Audition for The Moving Architects

The Moving Architects (TMA), led by Artistic Director Erin Carlisle Norton, is currently seeking invested, curious, strong, and intelligent women dancers for projects in 2015-2016.  Dancers should have a technical foundation grounded in ballet and modern dance forms with the ability to execute precise and articulated movement.  Additional skills needed include working intimately within an ensemble; ease with improvisation and movement manipulation; and willingness to open up during the rehearsal process. Workshop audition format is designed to bring together complimentary individuals for the creation of a new ensemble-focused evening-length work.  Workshop components include working with repertory movement material and interacting through small group movement studies.  Rehearsals are Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons, and dancers are paid for performances as well as on a project-by-project basis.  Dancers must have flexible schedules, with performances and residencies this season in NYC, NJ, Pittsburgh, Eastern PA, and Boston.
