VLDC seeking 2 male dancers

VLDC seeking 2 male dancers Michelle Kappeler

The Vanessa Long Dance Company is seeking 2 male dancers with some acting ability for our 2015-2016 season. The VLDC combines both Dance and Theatre to create pieces about social and political issues we experience in everyday life. The dances are highly theatrical and each tell a story that audiences can easily understand, so acting experience is a plus. I am looking for passionate, reliable, talented dancers who care about issues that effect our current world.

If selected for an audition you will be asked to attend our company class Tuesday's 11-3pm

Rehearsals will be once a week on Tuesdays 11AM-3PM in the east village

Senior Company Members recieve a stipend, New Company Members must be part of the Company for six months before being considered for a promotion to Senior Company Member. There will be a lot of opportunities for performance- we try to perform about three times a month. Our Artistic Director is often hired to choreograph Off-Broadway shows, Music Videos, and Films. She will be drawing from the company members for these Jobs.

If you are interested in auditioning please send a resume, headshot, and video examples of yourself dancing to vanessa@vanessalongdancecompany.com  to request an audition slot.
