AUDITION-week of August 18:  Donna Uchizono Company is seeking two female dancers with diverse cultural backgrounds to perform in a new, world premiere January, 2016. 

 Performers should be between 5’1”-5’4” and should have advanced ballet technique and be open to contemporary dance (extensive bourrée’s, petite allegro and balances will be a major motif of the work).

An audition will be conducted the week of August 18 from which 6 dancers will be invited to an intensive workshop August 24-29.  The two performers will be chosen from the intensive workshop, thus participation in the workshop is mandatory. Project rehearsals and performances are paid. Serious inquires only.
