Dance Matters, a youth dance ensemble based in Queens, NY, is seeking dancers ages 9-16 for its upcoming season.  Auditions will be help Saturday, September 12 from 9-12pm at Spaceworks on Long Island City, Queens (33-02 Skillman Avenue).  The audition will comprise of Ballet and Modern techniques and choreography.  Please email sanchezmariana81@gmail.com to register or for more information.

Artistic Director Mariana Sanchez founded Dance Matter in 2014.  Dance Matters is devoted to continuously creating new work that will encourage young dancers to grow technically and artistically.  The company hopes to pioneer new opportunities for young dancers by enabling a professional platform where they are exposed to challenging and inspiring work by highly trained peofessional dancers from different backgrounds.  Dance Matters strives to reach audiences of all ages and walks of life and inspires those who would otherwise never see dance.  It is a space for technical growth, artistic discipline, professionaly training, and young artist empowerment.
