Seeking 4-6 performers for BAX Artist in Residence

 

Ni’Ja Whitson, founder & artistic director of The NWA Project is seeking 4-6 performers for a one-year performance project hosted by BAX. Artists, Dancers, and Performers who identify as Queer (and/or LGBTSTGNC) and Black or a Person of Color especially encouraged. Useful skills: experience in improvisation, African Diasporic dance practices, social justice, experimentation, process and collaboration.

 

Participants should be prepared to dance*, improvise, and work with text.
*Bring sneakers

Ongoing rehearsals to begin after audition.
