The VON HOWARD PROJECT is seeking highly skilled Male and Female dancers for our upcoming performance season. Dancers auditioning must be proficient in Contemporary/Modern Dance, Classical Ballet and Jazz movement vernaculars. Dancers must be professional, kinesthetically aware, and comfortable with partnering, floor work and at least be the age of a recent college graduate.

Rehearsals occur Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings (8am-12pm) with the occasional weekend rehearsal when required.  Dancers must be available for all scheduled rehearsals.

The VON HOWARD PROJECT is a New York City based contemporary dance company under the artistic direction of Christian von Howard. The company was founded in 2003 and has presented work internationally for a wide range of audiences.

The VON HOWARD PROJECT is dedicated to the pursuit of artistic excellence and the availability of the Arts to everyone. VHP seeks to build enthusiastic audiences for the living arts, while promoting a wider appreciation and understanding of Contemporary Dance. Our mission supports the creative process; enriches the general public through local programs and performances, national and international tours, and continually advocates for the field of dance.

Contract includes rehearsal and performance pay.
