Seeking Dancers for New Work 'Project V'

 

Project V is a contemporary dance theater production exploring different forms of human touch through a People of Color lens. Focusing on five different states of human touch, we examine various qualities of touch: contact, connection, impact, perception, and communication. We are looking at how living in a white supremacist patriarchal society affects POC (People of Color) interaction with touch. In this, realizing how we build our own beauty and communication with touch. 

Requirements: Strong improvisational skills, Strong understanding of technique, Comfortable speaking and Open to various elements of dance theater and performance art

All ethnicities welcome

Availability: Tues, Wed, Thurs, Friday 7-9 pm, Sat 12-2 pm Able to make at least two rehearsals a week 

Audition Info: Saturday Oct. 24th, 2015 12-2 pm
