Hi,

I am a senior film student at the Pratt Institute and am currently looking to cast a (female) dancer between the ages of 18-26 as the lead for my thesis short film. The film will premier at BAM film festival at the end of the year and hoping to submit to Sundance as well as Tribeca and many others. This is a great opportunity for any dancer who also has interest in acting.

I am having an open casting call this upcoming Saturday the 21st from 1-8 pm. The script has minimal dialogue and is a   visual piece. If you have an online video reel of dancing / or acting, please attach that to your email, would be helpful but not necessary.

Auditions: At auditions I would expect to see a dance routine in preferably the form of ballet, contemporary ballet, or modern dance. I will also ask that you bring a short prepared monologue of your choice.
