All forms of dance and movement based work are welcome to apply! This residency is limited to companies and ensembles with a minimum of three (3) performers. Benefits include a stipend and up to 40 hours of free rehearsal time in the professional dance studios at Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning.

The goals of this competitively awarded dance residency program are to foster the creation or completion of original compositions of 7-18 minutes in duration, and to encourage direct interaction between working artists and the community of Jamaica, Queens.  Compositions will be premiered with an informal viewing at the Jamaica Performing Arts Center (JPAC).
