Seeking Performers with strong dance and acting backgrounds who are comfortable singing.

‘59RPM is Current Harbor’s exciting new project, being presented at Dixon Place on December 16th. Based on the pop chart hits of 1959, this dance theater piece seeks to delve below the bubble gum veneer of these iconic songs through original text, sound and movement. With a strong collaborative team at the helm, we are looking forward to meeting new performers who are interested in exploring this subject matter in a multidisciplinary experience! 

It is a limited rehearsal process so it is imperative that performers are available for majority of rehearsals. We will be very respectful of everyone’s time, so in exchange we ask that once cast, you commit to these times. All rehearsals will be in Brooklyn (off the Franklin Ave. 2/3/4/5) please take travel time into consideration. We are able to offer a small stipend and the potential for future work.
