Announcing the sixth edition of DANCE ITALIA: a summer dance intensive bringing world-renowned, cutting-edge, contemporary choreographers and teachers to a select group of advanced level dance students in an open and professional environment in Italy. This program offers a rigorous dance experience in a profound atmosphere of cultural exchange. 

Previous editions have included students and teachers from Belgium, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Norway, Poland, Spain and the US.

When & Where:

Agropoli - July 10-15 Classes run Sunday through Friday concluding with a performance at the beautiful Castello Aragonese.

Choreographic platform:

Distinguished Improvisation teacher Piero Leccese and New York based choreographer Stefanie Nelson will create new work with students in a collaborative setting. This condensed 6-day intensive, creative process will provide students an intimate and exceptional professional experience.

 

Lucca - July 18-August 5 Classes run Monday through Friday, in the picturesque city of Lucca, located on the Tuscan coast of Italy.

Dance Italia offers guided tours, meal plans, and the unique opportunity to access Italian culture while pursuing creative and artistic fulfillment.
