WHITE WAVE would like to inform you of upcoming performance opportunities and invite you to submit applications to two awe-inspiring festivals being presented in the late spring of 2016: the 10thAnniversary Wave Rising Series and our inaugural SoloDuo Festival.

10th Annual Wave Rising Series (June 13th-26th, 2016)

Application Deadline is March 1st, 2016 (Early Bird Special: February 19, 2016).

We are proud to present our 10th Anniversary Wave Rising Series in association with the 92Y Harness Dance Center at their historical Buttenwieser Hall. The Wave Rising Series (WRS) is a two-week dance festival presenting 16 rising and eminent dancemakers. This year, WRS will be conducting Master classes as well as Dance Film showings during the festival.

Application fee:   Early Bird Special fee: $75 (by February 19th)
Regular Application fee: $90 (by March 1st)

*Your proposed program must not exceed 20 minutes, (one full-length piece, or several shorter works), including set-up and strike.

Each choreographer/company may submit up to two applications per festival for consideration (each application requires a separate completed application form, DVD, and application fee).

The WAVE RISING SERIES runs for two weeks. During one of those weeks, your company’s program will be presented twice.

All applications will be reviewed by a panel of impartial adjudicators. If your work is selected, you will be notified by e-mail by March 21st 2016.
