DEADLINE EXTENDED!! Showcase at Ailey Citigroup Theater

This January equilibrium DanceWorks will be hosting it's second Choreography Showcase in New York City. Our last showcase was held on May 21, 2015 at Theatre 54 in Times Square. 45+ Choreographers submitted their work to be shown and 12 choreographers were chosen to participate. We hope that we get as many talented applicants as we have in the past.

Our next showcase will be held at The Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theatre in New York City. Tentative date is January 15th. The show will include the work of up to fifteen choreographers followed by a reception for the audience and artists to network, interact, and give each other feedback.

Choreography guidelines for submission:

- Pieces must be 6 minutes long minimum & 12 minutes long maximum

- Solos must not exceed 6 minutes

- Number of dancers must be limited to 8 dancers

- All styles/genres are welcome

To be considered, submit an application and complete the $15 registration fee ( both found on our website below). Once the fee and application have both been received, you will get confirmation.

Past participants do not have to pay an application fee. Applications and fees are due by March 5th .
