Maya Kite and Dancers is looking for both men and women for our upcoming season.  We will be holding an audition on February 27th from 1:30-3 pm. It will be held at the IATI Theater at 64 E 4th St on the second floor.  Please email your photo and resume to mayakiteanddancers@gmail.com to register.

You can expect once a week rehearsals (Saturdays 1-3) with some festival performances in the spring and summer and a full length performance in the fall. In the fall we will likely need to extend rehearsal times or add an additional day.

We are looking for modern dancers. We have some rep that is jazzy and some that is postmodern, but at our core we are a modern dance company that performs largely theatrical works.  We do have quite a bit of rep that is performed in the dark with various forms of light fabrics and lamps and are therefore looking for dancers willing to work with props in low light conditions.
