Michiyaya Dance Company seeking experienced women dancers for company positions. Must have strong improvisational skills and comfortable with nudity. 

Michiyaya Dance is an all women's contemporary dance theater company based in New York City. Co-founded by Anya Clarke and Mitsuko Verdery in summer 2015, Michiyaya Dance merges the worlds of both Clarke and Verdery's background in dance and visual art to create a new dialogue in performance work. As an improv-based company, Michiyaya Dance allow the dancers to take part in the creative process, adding the voice of the individual. Michiyaya Dance is excited for its premiere work Project V (5) in March 2016. 

Rehearsal Times: Tues-Friday 7-10 pm Saturdays 11-3 pm **One weekday + Friday and Saturdays are mandatory. 

Audition Date:
