Luke Murphy- Attic Projects: Last Call for Expressions of Interest

Compensation: Paid Contracts. Weekly Salary + travel and accommodation. All projects involve some travel to Ireland.
Luke Murphy is looking for expressions of interest from experienced contemporary dancers with strong theatrical sensibilities for a range of projects 2016-2018.
Looking for diverse performers of all ages and backgrounds. Actors with strong physical skills also encouraged to apply.

Due to large response the deadline for submissions has been pushed forward to March 14th. Selected applicants will be invited to a workshop/ research session in NYC in April, dates and times TBA.
Based between Cork City Ireland and NYC, Attic Projects produces works across a range of mediums and platforms in dance, theatre, film and installation with a strong athletic and physical vocabulary at its heart. Attic Projects is currently company in residence at the firkin crane, cork.
Luke Murphy has performed with Wim Vandekeybus Ultima Vez since 2014 with Punchdrunk from 2009-2015 as an original cast member of Sleep No More in NYC as well as productions of Sleep No More in Boston and The Drowned Man in London, in addition he has performed with Martha Clarke in "Angel Reapers" 2010-2011, Kate Weare Company 2011-2013, Pavel Zustiak's Palissimo Company 2011-2013 and in projects with John Scott, John Kelly, Janis Brenner, Jonah Bokaer, Heidi latsky and Sean Curran. His work has been presented throughout Ireland and the US and supported by various residencies and commissions from Arts Council of Ireland, Cork City Council, dancelimerick, Tyrone Guthrie centre, the yard, national dance project touring award, foundation for contemporary arts, the pavilion theatre, Kelly Strayhorn theatre, Kaatsbaan centre, irish arts centre, firkin crane theatre, Tribeca performing arts centre, duo multicultural arts centre and dragons egg
