We have produced over 100 dances and 28 international tours involving cultural diplomacy and exchange with 12 countries including Latin America, Europe and Russia. Our education programs target NYC PreK-5 public school students and multicultural communities under-served in the dance arts. The organization currently serves over 1,500 students and 200 classroom teachers in 5 Title 1 public schools in the Lower East Side and Far Rockaway and over 13,000 individuals annually across all programs. We recently launched our MoveUP! Dance Academy & Festival at our Studio 517 in The Clemente Center.

We are seeking instructors for Mondays and Wednesdays for 45-minutes classes 3:30-6:00 PM for eight weeks May 2-June 27, 2016; and for July-August, 2016 Mondays-Fridays.

We seek dance teachers experienced working with under-served multicultural PreK-5 children in studio and school settings. We are seeking to teach world dance forms, including traditional and folkloric forms; hip hop, step, and urban forms; flamenco, pre-ballet, pre-jazz, and Modern dance. We will consider proposals for teaching other dance forms from expert instructors highly successful with similar student populations.
