Drastic Action, directed by Aviva Geismar, seeks 1 strong male contemporary dancer for performances June 16 - 18, 2016 in Fort Tryon Park as well as possible future projects. We are looking for a powerful, dynamic mover with a compelling performance presence. Must be mature, experienced and interested in participating in the development of a collabortaively generated, site-specific, outdoor work. 
Rehearsals start April 19th and take place Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in the park from 9 am to 1 pm. This project, "Dis/Location (Fort Tryon)," explores the immigrant experience, so ethnic diversity is valued.
