nathantrice/RITUALS seeking dancers/singers for Strange Love: Episodes

 

Artistic Director Nathan Trice is seeking dancers/singers with some acting skills for paid performances of the Strange Love: EPISODES project with nathantrice/RITUALS dance theater.

The audition will take place on March 18th at Restoration Plaza's Center for Arts and Culture: 247 Herkimer, 3rd Floor, Studio A. The open call begins at 11:00am, and callbacks will take place at 12:30pm.

Auditionees should prepare a short a cappella song that shows vocal strength and range, and a 1-2 minute reflective monologue that shows acting ability. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, and be prepared to dance. 

African American/Black dancers highly encouraged to audition.

Non-paid rehearsals begin immediately and run two weeks a month, M/W/F from 10-2 at Restoration. 
Performance Dates: June 17, at the Kumble Theater, August 10, at Central Park SummerStage, August 19, at Marcus Garvey Park.

Directions to the audition venue:
Take the A or C train to Nostrand Avenue, walk up Fulton 1 block to MarcyAve. Restoration Plaza will be on the right. Walk through the plaza past the amphitheater and the building on the right labeled "247 Herkimer" is your destination.
