In our 25th Anniversary year, the Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre/Sean McLeod Dance Experience seeks additional female and male dancers for company and corporate positions, including our upcoming Spring NYC performance event, the New York Dance Festival's 25th Anniversary KDT Concert and "A Day in Dance" Gala in the Finger Lakes, and possible national and international opportunities.  If you are a dancer who has additional corporate skills and business aspirations, we want you present!  KDT/SMDEx offers a new kind of dance company experience, one that looks to develop your business, interpersonal, and teaching skill-sets as well as honor and increase your world-class dance pedigree. 

If you are selected as a company member, you will have paid performances, as well as opportunities to create national and international revenue making engagements.  Teaching opportunities pending certification in one or more McLeod Technique forms. A strong background in classic and contemporary modern and ballet is recommended but not required. If you have the right heart we'll work to give you the rest.  Those focused on a world class physique wrapped in only the best personality traits should apply.  If you are not selected, you may still be offered an opportunity to grow as dancers and performers with KDT/SMDEx as an Apprentice or CIT (Company in Training).

Join us for a weekend full of Life Changing Master Classes and personal interaction led by International Producer and American Choreographer Sean McLeod and his amazing team, the Certified Personalities of McLeod Technique. Hosted by the New York Institute of Dance & Education (NYIDE), Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre/Sean McLeod Dance Experience, and our partners, this two-day dance experience will include classes in Sean McLeod's codified McLeod Technique Modern, Reinforced Motor Function ® (an alignment, strength, and flexibility system), and MT Afro Hip Hop. Topped off with our famed self-reflective and life fueling "Talk Around" sessions.  All of that wrapped in Motivation that will inspire you to action. If you are willing to take risks, embrace "Yes" and learn why this is essential, then Sean would love to see you!

Workshop participation is not required for audition consideration; however, it is strongly recommended in order to get a head-start in McLeod Technique (MT) and for us to get to know each other to the fullest extent.  We also welcome workshop participants who are not interested in auditioning for the company at this time but are looking for an invaluable dance and life experience.
