Katherine Maxwell is seeking both male and female contemporary moving artists for several upcoming contemporary projects. 

Artists are expected to be intellectual and intuitive movers with a strong sense of athleticism and fluidity. A true fierceness and advocacy for genuine movement is desired. Compensation, process schedule and performance itinerary will be discussed further upon submission.

About the Artist:
Investigating movement with a sense of honesty and vulnerability, Katherine Maxwellis an independent contemporary artist who molds the body through a series of sensations and textures. Katherine approaches choreography by listening to the body, moving from the inside out. Using internal triggers to conduct happenings throughout the system, Katherine emphasizes the necessity in working with genuine impulse. Clear choice making triggers movement to become a connection to a thought, an idea, an emotion, in essence, the product of internal exploration. Through her art making, Katherine aims to engage the viewer in an opportunity to witness and consider alternative perspectives. Laced into her work is an intricate, refined fluidity. Subtle electricities are found within her movement quality. She is driven to expose the connectivity of mankind's inner self. Katherine Maxwell observes and reflects in her artistry, on the human experience as an essential factor in developing a sincere voice and meaningful body of work.
