Cora School for Dance in Red Hook, Brooklyn is accepting applications for experienced ballet teachers for beginner (ages 5-8), intermediate (ages 9-12), and advanced (ages 13+) students for the 2016-2017 school year. Must be available from 2pm-6:30pm on Thursdays.
The Cora School for Dance strives to be an exceptional dance school that feels like a second home. Students receive strong technical instruction while expanding their creativity and sense of community through dance and related art. Cora focuses on creating opportunities for people to interact, learn, and grow through dance while addressing the impediments that limit access to arts for all. The Cora School is a pay-what-you-can facility, meaning we turn no one away based on ability to pay and offer sliding scale classes for everyone. Looking for:
-Experience teaching children's ballet ages 5+
-Experience teaching children from diverse backgrounds
-Stellar classroom management skills
-Training in multiple styles of dance a plus!
-Availability to commit to the 2016-2017 School Year (late September to June)
