DETAILS //////////////
VIM VIGOR is a physical dance theater company under the direction of Shannon Gillen. VIM is seeking to hire an apprentice with very strong contemporary technique with an emphasis on floorwork and partnering, improvisational and theatrical skill-sets, and professional experience for the company's upcoming season. Our interest is to introduce this apprentice to VIM's collaborative working style, so applicants should be interested in participating in a creative group dynamic. We also seek to build trust before considering a full dancer hire in 2017.

Applicants must be available to start in August to train with the company during our summer intensive and available to travel with VIM VIGOR during our creation period in California. Travel to the company's residency in California will be covered along with accommodations. This position also will be paid with a modest weekly stipend. All applicants must be available August, September, early October, November, early December, and January - please do not apply if you are already committed.
