Job description:
* Perform a 45min. story at least 2x day
* quick memorization/improv skills
* some singing ability (strong ability a plus!)
* know how to break down a story into its simplest form
* play with adorable, happy babies and toddlers (5mo-3yrs)
* the chance to write and perform your own stories
* hand/ rod puppetry skills- or the desire to learn
* set up and break down shows
* driving a plus (for birthday parties)
* timeliness 
* creative thinking and problem solving skills

Shows take place in Hoboken, NJ (off the PATH train); M-F 10a and 11a.

“Since it started, Puppetonia has taught children more than just ABC’s and 123?s. The music and puppet shows incorporate important social skills, early academics, thinking skills, motor skills, and self-expression.

The music is fun and upbeat, and the children are encouraged to move to the rhythm, follow verbal instructions, practice sequential movements, and have a great time. And there are bubbles galore!

The puppets are friendly and cuddly, bringing to life old bedtime stories, funny incidents children encounter in their daily lives, and exploring nature and community.

The Puppetonia team includes actors, playwrights, musicians and early childhood educators. Through the years, this talented team has created over sixty unique stories.

The shows have been successfully performed in a variety of educational settings such as schools, day cares, and libraries.”
