Atlanta Dance Collective: Seeking proposals for new work for Spring 2017 Season!

ADC will be producing our season concert this spring in downtown Atlanta, GA. We are looking for 2 works(new or existing) from emerging choreographers to be included in our program this year! All submissions go through adjudication by a panel of dance professionals.

Where: Synchronicity Theatre
When: March 10th and 11th, 2017

Specifications for Submissions:
-Must be within the realm of contemporary/modern/ballet/postmodern dance.
-No longer than 10 minutes in length.
-Can be existing or proposed work.

-Extra props, sound equipments, projection needs, etc. must be communicated in your original proposal

-You and your dancers must be available between 10am and 10pm on March 10th, and 4pm and 10pm on March 11th.

 Chosen works will receive photos and video of their work from the show,  promotion of your company on our website, 1 complimentary ticket to Opine Dance Film Festival, and an honorarium at the close of the show. *Please note our collective is Atlanta based and seeks to build the community of dance in Atlanta. Preference will be given to Atlanta-based artists, however artists from other areas will be considered and are encouraged to apply! We are happy to help promote fundraising campaigns for travel expenses if you are chosen.

2. Resume/CV/BIO/Company Bio
3. Title of Work
4. Length(no longer than 10 min)
5. # of Dancers(no more than 8)
6. Description of Dance/Proposal for new work
7. Link to footage of piece you will be submitting(rehearsal footage is fine). If submitting a proposal or piece in-progress, please send a link to rehearsal of in-progress work and/or work sample.

8. Props, Tech needs, any other notes about your work.

Deadline to submit is October 10th, 2016!

You may submit as many pieces as you'd like for consideration. Please send each submission in a separate email. Film submissions are also currently being accepted for Opine Dance Film Festival! For more info, please click here.

Application fee is $20 (per piece). To pay your submission fee, proceed to our "Choreograph" page on our website. Your submission will not be completed until you have paid your application fee. *Note that this is the only fee for participation; if you are chosen there are no production fees.
