Treehouse Shakers, a NYC based non-profit dance-theater company, is seeking company members. Currently we have six performances on a rotating tour. We are seeking talented performers who are easy to work with, enjoy the creative process, take directions well, and enjoy working as a company. Some of our work leads us into the classroom, so we are also looking for potential candidates to have experience working with students of all ages. Our works for young people are critically acclaimed, intertwine a fully realized script with movement and are created to build future audience members, as well as lovers of imagination and artistic expression.

Seeking a male actor who has great dance experience and can join company for two current productions; Under the Tangle and Let’s Talk About IT! Also seeking one female actor, who can move well, and has the potential to join Let’s Talk About IT! and Coyote’s Dance, and our other touring productions as an understudy/swing.

Rehearsals are non-negotiable and are on Wednesday evenings and Friday mornings. Additional rehearsals may be added if necessary. Auditions will be held beginning on December 1, 2016 10AM-1PM in Long Island City, Queens. Performance Pay & rehearsal stipend. www.treehouseshakers.com, to read more about our company. If interested, please email your headshot, resume, and a statement about why you would like to work with the Treehouse Shakers to contactus@treehouseshakers.com.
