Jodi Kaplan & Associates / Booking Dance is seeking self-motivated, reliable, organized and enthusiastic individuals to join Jodi Kaplan & Associate’s BOOKING DANCE FESTIVAL at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Saturday, January 7, 2017. This once-in-a-lifetime dance extravaganza will feature 15 different dance companies from across the USA plus 2 international guest artists from France in over 20 showcases in all styles of dance during this extraordinary 4-hour performance. It is a great networking opportunity. This one day commitment is perfect for artists, arts administrators, and professionals alike that have a desire to experience behind-the-scenes at one of APAP’s largest dance showcases. Positions include assistant stage managers, artist/presenter relations, event production, social media, press liaisons, and greeters - you are sure to learn from hands-on experience during the nation’s largest arts market. Stipend available. 

Requirements: 
Bachelors Degree secured or expected / Graduate students welcome
Proficiency with Mac (position dependent) 
Interest in dance 

Preferred: 
Professionals in Dance 
Experience in an arts administration environment 
Backstage and technical experience

One-Week APAP Internship - Jan 2-8, 2017

Jodi Kaplan & Associates/Booking Dance (JK&A) is two seeking self-motivated, reliable, organized and enthusiastic interns to assist one week with JK&A's APAP showcase preparations. This position is perfect for arts professionals, college students or recent graduates who are interested in-depth experience in producing, arts administration and event coordination. 

The internship is officially from Monday, January 2-Sunday, January 8, 2017 but additional opportunities exist should the applicant be interested. At one of the nation’s largest booking conferences, Booking Dance Festival NYC at Jazz at Lincoln Center offers one of the best hands-on experiences in the field.

Requirements: 
Bachelors Degree secured or expected / Graduate students welcome
Proficiency with Mac
