Natalie Johnson Dance is seeking a rehearsal assistant for our winter season, January-March 2017.  We are a fiscally-sponsored emerging company that has been performing around New York and beyond since early 2015.

 

We are looking for a curious, reliable and kind person who is interested in observing the creative process.

 

The rehearsal assistant will help rehearsals run smoothly through tasks including:

-Running sound for company repertory

-Assisting the Artistic Director with note taking

-Videoing material when necessary

-Small need-based errands

 

Company rehearsals are Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoon/evening.

 

In exchange, you’ll receive

- arts management/admin experience

-recommendation letter/reference for any future endeavors, from the Artistic Director

-participation in company warm-ups every rehearsal; rotating pilates, yoga, and improvisation-based mini classes.
