In celebration of Black History Month, a major cable network is creating short docu-style videos featuring young people with interest and skill in various fields alongside African American experts in those fields, which include dance, fashion, food/cooking, gaming, music, science, sports and technology. 

We're looking for young people, ages 9-15, based in or around NYC (within a 1-2 hour driving distance), who have legitimate skill and experience in one of the fields above and are comfortable interacting with adults on camera.

SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE: JANUARY 13 by 6pm EST

SHOOT DATE: First shoot will take place around January 20 and no later than February 7 (kids must be available for an 8-hour day on their proposed shoot date)

SHOOT LOCATION: NYC (must live within a 1-2 hour driving distance from either location)

Those selected will be paid $1000 for their participation and for the use of their image/video.
