Auditions

Contracted paid positions for male and female dancers in Eva Dean Dance’s 2017 Spring and Summer Season, including site-specific performances in Prospect Park in September, with rehearsals beginning in August.

Contracted paid understudy for performances in Grahamstown, South Africa in late June early July, with rehearsals beginning in late May.  It is possible, but unlikely that the understudy will travel to South Africa.

Location of audition is provided with an appointment.

Also let us know if you have auditioned with us before. Regretfully questions cannot be answered via email, however Eva Dean will be happy to answer any and all questions at the audition.

What we are looking for:  Eva Dean Dance is looking for versatile, well rounded, and adventurous dancers with experience in improvisation, dance theater, and/or site-specific work a plus. Dancers should have a compelling stage presence, work well with ensembles, and have an open-minded approach to alternative sites and audiences.  For more information about EDD CLICK HERE.
