Notes in Motion Dance Theatre is looking for dancers to be Assistant Teaching Artist in our dance education programs at public schools in New York City.

Applicants should be enthusiastic about teaching dance to the next generation of arts and dance lovers, should have attention to detail, professional manner, an ability to learn from lead teachers and reflect on their teaching practice, and a willingness to take initiative in education environments.

Requirements: Dance students of professional programs or pursuing a college degree in dance or dance education. Must be older than 18 years old.

This is paid, entry level position, $15/hour.

Programs foster self-discovery, risk-taking, and making connections between different topics, themes, and areas of learning.
