Another Goddamn Lesbian Movie/ a choreopoem is an original interdisciplinary theater piece that relies on poetry, contemporary dance, and digital art to present a black queer love story. Set in the present, Samahdi and Moi work to keep their long-term same-sex relationship afloat during a period of personal and political calamity. 

Another Goddamn Lesbian Movie/ a choreopoem is sponsored, in part, by the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, administered by Brooklyn Arts Council (BAC).

LOOKING FOR FOUR QUEER ACTOR/DANCERS OF COLOR TO FULFILL THE FOLLOWING ROLES: 

SAMAHDI: main character's girlfriend. femme queer cis-womyn. 20-something. Black.

MOI: main character. femme lesbian cis-womyn. 20-something. Black.

CHARLIE: friend of MOI & SAMAHDI. genderqueer pansexual. 20-something. POC.

SUNDAY: friend of MOI & SAMADHI. bisexual transperson. 20-something. POC.

AUDITIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Approximate length of audition is 25 minutes. Please email nicoleshantewhite@gmail.com to book an audition slot.
