Calling members of our community with and without performance experience. Actors, movers, dancers and body-oriented performers are all welcome to take part in a performance-installation piece in Brooklyn this October.

LEIMAY is seeking individuals with any level of experience who are enthusiastic about working with the body within a group. If performing is something that interests you, do not hesitate to be part of this piece!

There will be nine rehearsals between September 23rd and October 12 with performances on October 12, 14, and 15 at 7:30 pm. Please see the full rehearsal details below.

This project is part of the New York Restoration Project’s “Arts in the Gardens” program and will take place at a community garden in Brooklyn. Founded by Bette Midler, the New York Restoration Project (NYRP) aims to enhance the quality of life in New York City via a comprehensive approach to urban land management.

REHEARSALS:
Nine Rehearsals from September 23 to October 11:
One weekday evening 6-10pm (Mon or Tue, TBD)
as well as Saturdays and Sundays 11-4pm

Total of three performance dates
