Maximum Entertainment Productions is currently seeking a non-union Production Stage Manager for a touring production of the hit holiday dance show, THE HIP HOP NUTCRACKER.

Position to start week of October 30 for rehearsals in California. Performances start on Thursday, November 9 and concludes December 30 in Charlotte, NC.

Seeking qualified PSM candidates who have experience with dance and touring. We are not seeking Assistant Stage Managers at this time.

Responsibilities include those as normally assigned to a Production Stage Manager. Specific duties include:

- Ensuring the successful execution of the creative team’s vision of the show. The Production Stage Manager will attend every performance, call cues, and observe that the lightboard operator is successfully cueing the show per the lighting design.

- Manage the rehearsal period and supervise the technical rehearsals.

- Other typical duties, including Hospitality (water, tea, first aid), sending performance reports to general management, etc.

Must be resourceful, extremely detail oriented, have excellent people management skills and be able to think outside the box. Must be a problem solver and have a positive attitude. A carpentry background is preferred.
