SPDance is seeking an Administrative Intern that is interested and excited about the expansion of Dance and Community Outreach.

About the Company:

We locate and create performances and educational outreach projects in communities that we feel benefit from dance and live dance performance. SPDance is passionate about sharing the art of dance, as well as helping other artists engage in the sharing of their work through artistic service.

Our two current projects are The Senior Care Project and A Chance To Dance.

The Senior Care Project’s mission is to establish a relationship between Senior Care Center’s and the Dance Community, to improve quality of life and to create enriching performance opportunities for local Dance Artists.

A Chance to Dance is an educational outreach program that targets international communities in workshops in dance creation and dance performance.

 

About the Internship:

Interns will work with the Director, Development Assistant and the PR manager; and will partake in the development of all future projects.

 

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is interested in being alongside a passionate group of artists who are standing for dance outreach. Must be a strong communicator with excellent writing skills and great sense of humor.

 

Commitment:

5-7 Hrs/Week
