Dear Performers:
 
We are so excited to create a dramatic stage performance for 2017 Harlem Fashion Week, September 10th at Museum of New York City. We are in search for dancers to make up a fantastic cast to "Rip the runway with dance!"

Harlem Fashion Week (HFW) is an officially sanctioned New York Fashion Week event by Fashion Week Online. HFW attracts consistent celebrity & media attendance.
 
The performance will be set for Sunday, September 10th, 2017 
Time: Evening TBA

Rehearsal starts at the end of July to September  (Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:45pm)
Downtown Brooklyn Rehearsal studio: (Details will be sent upon confirmation of attendance)

 

Open Rehearsal Casting: 
July 26, 2017, Thursday or Wednesday, July 26, 2017  
Time: 6pm to 7:30pm
You will be taught choreography and determine if you are a good fit for this project.

 

**Dancers must be versatile with great performance presence and have the ability to pick up choreography at an intermediate/advanced rate. Background training in two or more styles is preferred (but not mandatory). 
We are willing to work with schedules but need focused, vibrant, positive, theatrical performers with a strong interest in performing in a high exposure event.

All performers will need to sign a media release form.

Performance will be inspired by Afro Latin fusion and selected movie scenes.

*This performance opportunity gives dancers a magnitude of exposure, opportunity to debut with the co-founder/ producer and designer of Harlem Fashion Week, Yvonne Jewnell, perform at a media/press covered event, be a part of a highly attended show of the fashion industry, add a high-profile credit to one's dance experience/career resume, join the Harlem Fashion Week platform, be filmed and photographed. In addition to working with fabulous creative choreographers from Femme La Kray and Full Force Dance Repertory, each dancer will receive behind-the-scenes professional footage of the work to add to their visual portfolio.  

This is a non-monetary compensated performance.
