Call for Community Dancers

Urbanity Dance is seeking movers who are looking to engage with new dance artists in their community this summer. Urbanity Dance's Choreography Intensive will welcome eight diverse and emerging choreographers to Boston's South End in August. We are seeking engaged, hard working movers of all ages and experience levels who would like the opportunity to work in a new way. Dancers will be given the opportunity to experience a variety of choreographic styles and viewpoints and to gather information and inspiration first hand from a diverse group of choreographers participating in this playful dance laboratory.

Rehearsals will take place on August 14th-18th from 3:00pm-5:00pm in Boston's South End. The week will culminate with an informal showing and reception on Friday, August 18th.
