David Dorfman Dance is seeking a stellar fall 2017 intern. The fall intern will work closely with DDD's Company Manager and Development Associate to provide assistance for the company's 30th Anniversary season. This includes working on our upcoming crowdfunding campaign and helping with preparations for the fall performance season in NYC and Connecticut.

DDD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and has a small (but fierce) team that manages multiple projects at once. The projects assigned to interns will be discussed upon hire date. The internship will take place from September 18, 2017—January 19, 2018 (flexible dates). 

We are looking for applicants who are self-starters, organized, efficient time managers, good listeners, creative and interested in working in the dance field. Desired skills include the following: 

Various social media platforms 
Indiegogo
Video Editing and Archiving 
Microsoft Office
Google Drive
Squarespace

Though the DDD office is located downtown in the Financial District, our team is spread out throughout the US. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with our staff over Google Hangouts/Skype, and is local to the NYC area to work at the office from time to time.

The internship is non-paid. DDD offers the opportunity for school credit and/or the potential to take the DDD NYC Winter Intensive at Gibney Dance in January 2018 at no charge ($500 value), provided you pay for your own lodging and transportation.
