Mook Dance Company

Mook Dance Company is hiring for our Spring Season!

We are looking for 2-3 classically trained dancers that are available for our Spring Performances on March 9th and 10th, with other performance opportunities throughout the year. Rehearsals are not paid, but dancers will receive a performance stipend every show. Rehearsals are held every Sunday in the late morning/early afternoon with other rehearsals scheduled throughout the week depending on dancer schedule and availability.

Audition details: Sunday, September 10th from 1-3pm at the Center for Performance Research (361 Manhattan Ave in Brooklyn) in the large studio. The door code to get into the space will be emailed out prior to the audition. The space will be available for you to warm up at 12:30pm.

Audition requirements: Please email us a headshot, a dance shot, and a resume to mookdancecompany@gmail.com to confirm your spot and to receive the door code.

A bit about Mook Dance Company: Created in 2014 by Artistic Director, Winnie Berger, Mook Dance Company aims to bridge the gap between metaphor and reality. Their repertoire consists of real, palpable, and personal instances and elaborates on those ideas with movement that is both ethereal and literal. We feel that through dance we can most accurately and honestly share our voices and stories.
