Green Space located in LIC, Queens is looking for a Stage Manager/Lighting Designer for our monthly Take Root and Fertile Ground series. We are looking for a monthy commitment from September to June.  This can be 1 person for both series or 2 people, one for each series.

The Stage Manager/Lighting Designer will be responsible for creating all lighthing cues as well as running all lighthing and music cues during the performances.  They will also coordinate the opening and closing of House with the Box Office.

Take Root Series Call times -
Thursday for Tech Rehearsal: 7pm to 11pm
Friday and Saturday for Performances: 6:30pm to 11pm

Fertile Ground Series Call time -
Sunday Tech and Performance: 4pm to 11pm

Performance Dates -
Take Root - 9/22 & 23, 10/13 & 14, 11/10 & 11, 12/8 & 9, 1/19 & 20, 2/9 & 10, 3/16 & 17, 4/20 & 21, 5/18 & 19, 6/1 & 2
Fertile Ground - 9/24, 10/15, 11/12, 12/10, 1/21, 2/11, 3/18, 4/22, 5/20 & 6/3

Compensation:
For Take Root the SM/LD will be paid directly by the artists presenting work each month.
For Fertile Ground, we are specifically looking for a choreographer who also works as an LD in exchange for rehearsal space. If you are rehearsing regularly this is a great opportunity for you.
